Wilson is credited with creating the first branded web series in 2006 and has since developed, produced, distributed and marketed award-winning series and films for USA Network, Lifetime, Hulu, Amazon, Vox and New Form - the digital studio co-founded by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.
Prior to founding Unboxd, Wilson worked on the agency side, guiding digital and content strategies for bluechip brands like Capital One, BMW, Hiscox, IKEA and Trident among others; and pioneering innovative measurement methodologies to provide clients with meaningful insights to grow their business. An online video pioneer, Wilson has worked in marketing and business development for emerging, venture-backed and major entertainment companies including NBC Universal, Warner Brothers, Generate/DEFY, Crackle, Vuguru and Microsoft/MSN.
Named among Fast Company’s Best Entertainers on the Web and the Producers Guild Digital 25, Wilson is also a SAG-AFTRA actor, five-time Webby Award honoree, three-time Streamy Award winner and the recipient of NATPE's Digital Luminary Award. He is a graduate of Boston University, current member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).
