Create awareness for the Better Sleep Council - the non-profit mattress industry organization and educate female consumers 35-55 about the importance of changing your mattress every seven years to maintain proper sleep health.
Our strategy was to create a seven-episode anthology set inside a single hotel suite - an organic setting that allowed for narratives to unfold in and around a bed and mattress. We collaborated with seven writers, directors and and convened an all-star cast including Milo Ventimiglia, Shannen Doherty, Brian Austin Green, Illeana Douglas, Eddie McClintock and Jaime Murray.
To reach Better Sleep Council's target audience, Unboxd established a strategic, non-paid partnership with Lifetime Networks, the leading entertainment media brand for women, to distribute Suite 7 online to MyLifetime.com and its various digital channels including Hulu, AOL, YouTube, Xbox and iTunes to further extending reach.
You might not expect a Web series produced as a promotional tool for the Better Sleep Council to be very interesting, but “Suite 7” on Lifetime is worth checking out. What the council’s money has bought is the participation of recognizable performers like Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes”) as a skeptical best man and Illeana Douglas as an actress on location debating whether to have sex with her co-star. (Mr. Ventimiglia also directed his episode, while Ms. Douglas wrote hers.)
UNboxd Media has lined up several name actors for its upcoming Web original Suite 7. The series, a weekly anthology featuring seven different couples each staying in the same hotel suite at different times, features Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Gilmore Girls), Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills, 90210), Illeana Douglas and Craig Bierko.
